North Yorkshire foodies being encouraged to book now

JournoLink is providing a free coronavirus service for businesses looking to share how they are coping with the coronavirus with relevant journalists:

North Yorkshire foodies being encouraged to book now

Chris Cooper from Visiting North Yorkshire

At Visiting North Yorkshire we have experienced a total wipe-out of business, and no tourism-related businesses are signing up as they are shut down until the crisis is over. We are suggesting people re-book rather than cancelling along with trying to encourage people to book later in the season, as a surge will come when lock-down is lifted and leaving it late may see them struggle to book anything. Also we would like people to book tables in restaurants and pay a deposit, so money circulates and they have something to look forward to.
