MAKE YOUR SMALL BUSINESS VOICE THE ONE THAT COUNTS TONIGHT
JournoLink, Enterprise Nation and Bathtub to Boardroom are joining forces tonight to give small businesses the platform to make their voices some of the first to be heard as the election count goes on.
From 10pm tonight any small business with a view on the emerging outcome will be welcomed, fed and watered at 1 Frederick’s Place in Bank to add to the live commentary. The panel, including Peter Ibbetson from JournoLink and Emma Jones from Enterprise Nation, will be going straight through the night to 4am, with the hope of shedding some clarity on what the impact on small businesses might be. The real-time comments and filmings of the businesses are what will really count as the votes themselves get totalled and the results announced.
Any businesses keen to be heard or seen can join the team online through the Enterprise Nation website, www.enterprisenation.com, or can tweet using @JournoLink and @e_nation using the hashtags #Journolink and #GE2015. They can e-mail their video clips (no more than 30 seconds and keeping the language clean) to email@example.com Alternatively, they can join the team in person.
Gemma Guise at JournoLink is keen to see businesses profiled. “With 5 million small businesses accounting for a huge amount of the economic worth of the country, no political party, or coalition, can ignore their voice. At JournoLink we are passionate about giving businesses the platform to be heard, and we hope tonight will see many businesses owners sharing their views as the results unfold.”
