JOURNOLINK HITS THE HEADLINES IN FEMALE AWARDS
Gemma Guise, Managing Director of JournoLink (www.journolink.com), the online PR agency for small businesses, social entrepreneurs and start ups, has been cited as one of the top emerging women entrepreneurs to watch in the City.
Listed as one of the top women to watch in the Media and Journalist category of the We Are The City annual awards announced on 1 September, Gemma Guise and her team has brought PR support to over 1350 small business owners in just 18 months, with extensive coverage in national newspapers as well as local and trade press, and radio broadcast outlets, through her business JournoLink.
Commenting on JournoLink, Gemma Guise said, ‘We set out to provide an affordable PR option for small businesses who had no idea how to get the attention of journalists, and who could not afford a mainstream PR agency. There are five million small businesses in the UK, many with stories that journalists are keen to cover. Our job is to give the businesses a voice and the journalists an ear..”
