Entrepreneurial students sought for London bus incubator

A collaborative partnership between IncuBus, GradFactor Enterprises and Journolink will see the London double decker ‘IncuBus’ touring five key London Universities between 16-20 March. The tour aims to recruit enterprising university students for a 12 week intensive business start-up boot camp to be held this summer, mentored by YC, Techstars and Seedcamp Alumni.

The IncuBus is a fully equipped start-up incubator which in March will visit King’s College, Royal Holloway, SOAS, Kingston and the University of West London. The summer boot camp will be held on the IncuBus at its base in Camden, North London.

Students from the length and breadth of the country will be encouraged to bid for the 15 places. Applications open on 16 March and can be made through the GradFactor website, gradfactor.tv/our-events. The closing date is 31 May, after which successful ‘entrepreneurs’ will be announced in readiness for the start of the programme on 22 June 2015.

Keith Mabbutt, founder of GradFactor Enterprises, commented: “GradFactor Enterprises believes in the power of an Accelerator to help drive and scale an ambitious start-up and that’s why this summer we will be working with Incubus, Journolink, YC, Techstars, and Seedcamp Alumni to mentor and promote exciting new start-ups through the GradFactor boot camp.”

The Grad Factor Bus tour will be promoting the initiative through bus drop-ins, networking, short master classes and extensive social media interactions, managed by Journolink.
